Virginia Baloyo has been serving the Church for 29 years. Being married to Pastor Rudy Baloyo since 1986 calls her to change work every time he has a new call. Virgie has since been a teacher (pre-school and elementary), hospital clerk, administrative secretary, guesthouse coordinator, magazine editor, associate professor, and department director in the Central Philippines territory. On hindsight, she thinks each job taught her skills needed for later responsibilities.
She has degrees in Humanities (Comparative Literature) from the University of the Philippines (1982) and an MA in Education from the Adventist University of the Philippines (2003).
Virgie enjoys teaching and giving inspirational talks to people of all ages. With her ukulele, she helps nurture a Care Group/house church in Silang, Cavite.
SSD is the 10th move of the Baloyos, where he is the Executive Secretary, while she serves as Administrative Secretary to the President.
They are parents to Adrian Carlo, Pauleen Angeli, and Merryll who married Zyjie Dorado in 2016. On cool evenings the Baloyos love to walk and read. They collect Ben Carson books, travelogues, and ref magnets.
Seventh-day Adventist beliefs are meant to permeate your whole life. Growing out of scriptures that paint a compelling portrait of God, you are invited to explore, experience and know the One who desires to make us whole.
