Mamerto Guingguing II

Bio

Mamerto Guingguing II moved to Silang, Cavite from Carmen, Cagayan de Oro city in (year).  He studied Bachelor of Arts major in Theology in Mountain View College in Valencia, Bukidnon, and took up Master in Ministry in Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies in 2007.

He has served as a church pastor, and district pastor in various places in the south Philippines.  In 2006 he was elected to serve as Executive Secretary of Western Mindanao Conference, and in 2012 he became the editor-in-chief of Philippine Publishing House.  In 2015, he was called back to the south to serve as the Communication Director of South Philippine Union Conference.   This assignment was shortlived as he accepted the call to be the communication director of Southern Asia-Pacific Division. 

Twenty years ago, Mamerto tied the knot with Raiza.  Their marriage was gifted with a fine young man, John Denzel Martin.  Despite his busy schedule, Mamerto finds time to read and to write as these form his pastime and relaxation. 

Throughout his years of serving in the denomination, Mamerto draws strength from the passage: “For with God, nothing shall be impossible” Luke 1:37.
