The 2020-2021 Bar Examination was a record-breaking one in Philippine history since it has produced the most number of bar passers, with a total of 8,241 successful examinees.  This represents 72.28% out of 11,402 law graduates who took the bar exam.

The Supreme Court of the Philippines has also made significant changes in the conduct of examinations as it is the first time that a fully digitalized exam was administered, breaking from the conventional pen and paper exam.  The Bar Examinations were also regionalized as testing centers had been set up in various places in the country, which immensely helped the examinees.  Before the pandemic, the examinations were held in just one venue in the National Capital Region.

The Adventist Lawyers of the Philippines held a virtual Welcome and Thanksgiving Program with Pr. Arnelio A. Gabin, NPUC President, as their speaker. He challenged the new lawyers to dedicate their legal profession to service these last days. The new lawyers narrated their respective experiences on how the Lord led them when they took the Bar Examinations. They also expressed their commitment to serving the Church.

The Southern Asia-Pacific Division will formally welcome our new lawyers during the Adventist Lawyers National Convention in SSD, Silang, Cavite, which is set on September 8-11, 2022.
